At the end of the summer, while preparations for an air show are taking place in the sky, a man and a woman go to a body of water. But the arrival of a legendary aerobatic pilot will not be the main event of the day for them.

Director Matjaž Ivanišin (1981) works as a freelance filmmaker. His films have been screened at film festivals such as FID Marseille, Locarno, Tribeca and Rotterdam, and presented in the film programs of modern art museums such as the Centre Pompidou, MoMA and ICALondon. Selected filmography: Che Sara (2002, short documentary), Karpotrotter (2013, mid-length documentary), Playing Men (2017, feature documentary), Oroslan (2019, feature fiction).

“I had an idea for a short film. Then I moved with my family to a new environment for a spell. I walked a lot along new paths and so my idea slowly merged with the new landscape. The film is the result of this encounter.”
