Erik is a 9-year-old boy living in a children’s home as his parents can’t look after him. His only Christmas wish is to go home, but instead, he is selected in the draw to spend the holiday with a wealthy charitable family and their 7-year-old daughter Lučka. In the middle of the night in the living room, the kids catch Santa and hide in his car, starting an adventure that will have both their secret wishes fulfilled, but not in the way they’ve expected.

“The script by Saša Eržen, prolific and noted author of children’s literature, appealed to me straight away. I felt like a curious child again, asking thousands of questions, looking for a bunch of answers... During their curious adventure, Erik and Lučka grow close, two lonely kids keeping each other company, becoming the family they’ve been missing.”
