Three poor musicians—a fiddler, an accordionist, and a flutist—struggle to earn a living. After another failed performance at a fair, they seek shelter from an approaching storm and stumble upon the ruins of an old castle deep in the forest. Unaware that something is watching them, they make themselves comfortable, only to be captured by an ancient dwarf, with the help of a sentient walnut tree. When Moonbeard recognizes the fiddler’s instrument as a powerful dwarven relic, the musicians find themselves at the heart of a long-forgotten secret—one that could change their fate forever.

Jošt Šeško

As a professional animator, he blends the skills of both 2D and 3D animation to bring stories to life. Beginning with 2D animation, he graduated with a short film titled "Geomancy". Later, he expanded into 3D animation, learning through the Animation Mentor online school. Now, as a member of the production studio Invida team, he undertakes various projects in animation and film, ranging from character animations to visual effects. Whether it's creating advertisements, cinematic experiences, or educational content.

“The Singing Castle takes us into a magical fantasy world where the realms of goblins and humans intertwine. In co-production with an Armenian studio, it breathes new life into classic Slovenian folktales while exploring profound themes such as generational guilt and the healing power of music in a devastated world.”
Invida is an award-winning animation studio in Slovenia. Its core business is the development and realization of IP animated films and series, and production of animated content for commercial use. Filmography is rich and diverse - from the miniseries Muri the Cat in 3D, short films Weasel and Zippity-Zappity in a 2D computer animation, to series How it Grows with an old school visual approach.
