Born in 1998, Lana earned a degree in film and television directing from National Film School (AGRFT). Her graduation film, Otava, premiered internationally at the Sarajevo Film Festival and was a 2021 Student Oscar semi-finalist. Lana has won several domestic and international awards for her short films and original screenplays, including the Grossmann Awards in 2015, 2016, 2020, and 2021. She is an alumna of Sarajevo Talents (2021, 2022) and Innsbruck Film Campus (2018). Currently, she is writing her first feature screenplay about vision loss.
