Observing

The harder a young paramedic tries to find out why she is receiving mysterious videos of a brutal crime streamed on Facebook, the clearer it becomes to her that she was also involved. Lara (27), an empathic paramedic intern, helps bring Kristjan to the hospital. Although he is in a coma, Lara starts getting video clips from his FB profile of unknown people watching the beating. She reports it to a detective, who finds out that the observers were not present at the scene but watched the streaming. When Lara’s sister dies after admitting to Lara that she also watched the beating, Lara realizes that the observers are dying one by one. She wants to kill Kristjan, blaming him for the deaths. She cannot do it, but Kristjan dies anyway. When Lara receives a video of her watching the live streaming, she realizes that she, too, is an accomplice in Kristjan’s murder.
